Transport for Greater Manchester has released an update following disruption on the Oldham Metrolink line.
Services which usually terminate at Rochdale Town Centre had been terminating at Rochdale Railway Station earlier this morning, due to a points fault.
Points are movable pieces of track or operating equipment that allow trams to change tracks.

The disruption had meant passengers travelling to Rochdale would have to get off and walk another 12 minutes in the rain this morning to reach their final destination.
However, the disruption has now been resolved, with Transport for Greater Manchester posting on X (formerly Twitter) that the services were now running through.
The disruption comes following ‘severe delays’ on the line yesterday, after a separate issue at Derker tram stop.
A broken down tram had meant tickets and passes were accepted on local bus services.
The issue was resolved after about an hour.
According to the Bee Network's disruption alerts, the only other issues on the tram network are lifts out of service at Central Park, Firswood, and Sale, and escalators out of service at Manchester Airport and Bury.
