A popular pub and restaurant in Oldham town centre which was recently crowned Greater Manchester's 'pub of the year' has been shortlisted for another prestigious accolade.
The Fox and Pine pub on Greaves Street is locally, and regionally, considered a real ale and cider specialist venue, having bagged two top Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) awards in the past few years.
Since opening when Covid restrictions were relaxed, Chris and Michelle Riley have transformed the pub into a top drinking and dining spot and it has gone on to earn its stripes as one of the best in the borough.

Readers of The Oldham Times consider the Fox and Pine to be one of the top 10 places for a drink - which CAMRA endorsed by crowning it 'pub of the year' in Rochdale, Oldham and Bury, and giving it a shout out in its 50th edition of CAMRA's Good Beer Guide 2023.
It was then crowned the 'Greater Manchester pub of the year' by CAMRA in August which means the Fox and Pine will be going head-to-head against 16 other pubs from across the nation later this year.
Now, the Rileys said the pub has been shortlisted for another award - this time as Manchester's 'most loved pub' at the I Love Manchester awards.
In a post on social media, they said: "As Mondays go, we've never had a better one.
"We have been shortlisted for Manchester's most loved pub!
"To sit amongst the other nominees, and quite frankly our perfect pub crawl, is honestly making us burst with pride.
"A huge thank you to our dedicated and loyal staff and each and every customer who takes the time to visit."
Other shortlisted pubs include The Black Friar, Britons Protection, The Deansgate, The Metropolitan Didsbury, The Old Nags Head, The Peveril of the Peak and Sam's Chop House.
