A man who was spotted 'acting suspiciously' in Derker has been arrested on suspicion of supplying drugs and assaulting a police officer.
On Monday (September 11) at around 11.30am, officers from GMP's Oldham district were patrolling the area when they became aware of a man.
After the man saw the police patrol vehicle, it is alleged he "made off" from the scene.

He was then traced to a property on Whetstone Hill Lane and two men were detained for the purposes of a stop and search.
A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing with intent to supply Class B drugs and assaulting a police officer.
Several items were also seized in the search, including more than £1,000 in cash and Class B drugs.
The drugs were destroyed while the man was taken into custody for further questioning.
He has since been released on police bail pending further investigation.
Greater Manchester Police said it is "determined" to crack down on reports of drugs in the area and that officers will continue to "act upon intelligence and will not tolerate drugs or violence in our communities".
