Oldham has been issued with a rain warning from the Met Office for today.
The new warning comes just days after the borough was issued a thunderstorm warning at the end of last week’s heatwave, which saw temperatures reach highs of 25°C.
Now, the borough is subject to a yellow warning for rain.
The warning is set to last from 1am until 1pm today, September 12.
Heavy rain may cause flooding and disruption in places, according to the Met Office.

According to the Met Office, those at risk of flooding should prepare flood plans and kits, make sure their phones are charged, and store valuables high up.
In the event of a flood, gas, water and electricity supplies should also be turned off.
Those driving should slow down, use main roads, use dipped headlights, and give more time to react on slippery surfaces, with a larger gap between vehicles.
Floodwater is unsafe and should be avoided.
