A popular Oldham pub is on the hunt for new tenants to take over and become part of the community.
The Park Inn, owned by Admiral Taverns, is on the lookout for new operators after its current licensees announced they are leaving.
The community pub is located on Buckstones Road Shaw and specialises in real ales and craft beers and serves home cooked food.
According to Admiral Taverns the pub has a “warm and friendly atmosphere” and a dining area with space for approximately 20 covers that can be used for events such as quiz nights, live music, open mic nights, and karaoke.
The pub also has a well-equipped commercial kitchen and outside space that includes a car park and seating areas to the front and rear that are suitable for al fresco dining.
The pub’s private accommodation consists of a living room, kitchen, family bathroom and three bedrooms.
Admiral Taverns has said they are looking for someone who will “embed themselves into the local community and enjoys putting on live entertainment, offering good home cooked food, and wants to be involved with sports teams”.
Across the Greater Manchester area, the group has around 15 leased and tenanted pubs available which offer a range of support for new licensees, from low rents and zero business rates to contributions towards the cost of utilities.
Ceri Radford, head of recruitment and operations support at Admiral Taverns, said: “We have some brilliant opportunities across the Greater Manchester region for passionate and enthusiastic individuals or teams who are interested in running their own pub.
“You don’t necessarily need any experience either - at Admiral you have a wealth of support and knowledge to maximise your pub’s potential. Wherever you are in your journey, we’ll focus on finding the right pub for your vision and tailor our approach, support, and the training we offer to meet your needs.
“We believe we do things differently to other pub companies. To us it is simple – great pubs are run by great people and at Admiral, we’re committed to building strong partnerships with our licensees and operators, empowering them to make a success of their own business, whilst providing as much support along the way.”
