A weather warning has been issued to Oldham for tomorrow (September 9), with a risk of thunderstorms in the borough.
Temperatures are set to remain high in Oldham on Saturday, however there is a risk of heavy, slow moving showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and early evening.
The yellow warning will run from 2pm to 9pm, with some possible heavy downpours of 30 to 50mm of rain possible in one to two hours or less.
Large hail and lightning are additional hazards.

The Met Office has said people can possibly expect the following:
- Spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures
- A chance of delays where flooding and lightning strikes occur, and some cancellations to train and bus services
- A slight chance of power cuts occurring and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost
- A small chance homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds
The weather warning has been issued to parts of the North West, the Midlands, parts of Wales, parts of the East and parts of the South.
Along with the potential thunderstorms, temperatures are expected to remain high in Oldham, with the Met Office saying highs of 25°C in the borough.
