A major Oldham road was closed after a police vehicle and a car crashed this afternoon.
Middleton Road in Chadderton was the site of the incident, with Greater Manchester Police (GMP) officers being called to the scene at around 2.30pm today (Monday).
The driver of the civilian car suffered minor injuries, with the other passengers being taken to hospital with 'non life-threatening' injuries.
The police officers in the other car were not injured in the crash.
Bus services diverted via Featherstall Road South and Arkwright Street due to the cordon.
A GMP spokesperson said: "Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a police vehicle and a car on Middleton Road in Oldham at around 2.30pm today, Monday, August 28.
"The driver of the car suffered minor injuries, with other passengers in the car taken to hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
"Officers in the police vehicle did not sustain injuries."
