Oldham’s E-ACT The Oldham Academy North has been confirmed as one of the highest performing academies in the borough.
Jessica Giraud, E-ACT The Oldham Academy North’s headteacher, said: “This is an unprecedented year for GCSE results, so I am absolutely delighted that, once again, our students have achieved truly incredible results.

The Royton-based academy, which educates 1,400 students between the ages of 11 and 16, had top achievers, including Oliver, who achieved five 9 grades, one distinction star, an 8, and three 7s.
Student Safa achieved six 8s, three 7s, and a 5.

The majority of the academy’s students study the English Baccalaureate at GCSE, with every student said to leave ‘ready to be successful’.
