A popular pub and restaurant in Oldham town centre has bagged another prestigious CAMRA award - and is standing as the best place for a pint across the region.
The Fox and Pine pub on Greaves Street is considered a real ale and cider specialist venue - and has a plethora of awards under its belt to prove it.
The pub is run by Chris and Michelle Riley and, despite only opening fully a few years ago when Covid restrictions were relaxed, it has gone on to earn its stripes as one of the best in the borough.

Residents and readers of The Oldham Times voted the Fox and Pine as one of the top 10 places for a drink and more recently revelers dressed up in 1960s gear and "danced in the rain" for the pub's first-ever festival, Foxfest.
Last year, it also won two CAMRA accolades in a row - being crowned 'pub of the year' for the joint Rochdale, Oldham and Bury branch as well as winning the crown for Oldham in the solo category.
CAMRA, which was first launched in 1971 as a campaign for the 'revitalisation of real ale', issues prestigious awards to the places considered the "very best" in the pub, club, beer and cider scene from across England, Wales and Scotland.
Also this year as part of the 50th edition of CAMRA's Good Beer Guide 2023 - the "ultimate guide" to pubs, bars and clubs that offer a "great pint" - Fox and Pine was one of three Oldham pubs to make it on the list.
Now, the Riley's have announced the Fox and Pine has won another prestigious CAMRA award - this time being crowned the best across the region as the 'Greater Manchester pub of the year'.
Graduating to this level, the Fox and Pine will be going head-to-head in a national competition later this year, where it will face off against 16 other pubs from across the UK.
