Emergency services and a drone were spotted searching through a Saddleworth beauty spot yesterday after reports of someone shouting for help.
At approximately 4.15pm on Monday (July 31), emergency and rescue teams assembled in Greenfield at Dovestone Reservoir after reports of someone calling for help.
Oldham Mountain Rescue Team, Saddleworth and Lees neighbourhood police officers and fire crews worked together to search the area.

A fire service drone pilot was also used to try to trace the whereabouts of the individual.
While the teams searched for more than two hours, it was called off after no one was found.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed the search was stood down as "nothing was found".
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service added: "Firefighters were called out to Dovestone Reservoir, Greenfield, to assist Greater Manchester Police and Oldham Mountain Rescue Team who were searching the area after reports of someone calling for help.
“A fire service drone pilot attended the scene to help search the area and left shortly before 6.30pm when Oldham Mountain Rescue Team and Greater Manchester Police called off the search when no one could be found.”
