A house fire that broke out on a residential street in Oldham last weekend has killed a man, it has been confirmed.
At around 10am on Sunday (July 16), there were reports of a house fire at an address on the Eldon Street housing estate.
Greater Manchester Police said officers and emergency services attended the incident.

It has now been confirmed that a man in his 50s has died.
A spokesperson for the force said: "At around 10.20am on Sunday 16 July 2023, officers responded to reports of a fire at an address in Eldon Street, Oldham.
"Despite the best efforts of emergency services, a man in his 50s sadly died.
"Enquiries are currently ongoing."
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) has been contacted for comment.
