A woman who took the plunge to open a hair salon in her 20s is celebrating her "thriving" business after passing a major milestone.
Lush Hair Salon, situated on Huddersfield Road in Saddleworth, is run by Holly Andrew Helliwell and her mother, Alyson Andrew, who has kept the building in the family for more than 25 years.
However, since 32-year-old old Holly took over the former florist and transformed it into a hairdressers when she was just 21 years old, the salon has gone from strength to strength.

It is considered the borough's only official Olaplex salon and loyal customers swear by Holly's expert hands.
The salon also only recently finished a mega refurbishment, where it abandoned its bright pink/lilac "Barbie house" theme for a more modern cream touch on the outside while all the furniture and fittings were updated.
Now, Holly said her business has surpassed its 11-year birthday as of Monday (July 10) this week.
In a post on social media, she wrote: "We are 11 years old today.
"If you had told me 11 years ago when I was 21 that Lush Hair would be thriving still to this day, been through a pandemic and come through the other side and become the success it is, I would of been the happiest girl, to which I am."
The businesswoman then extended all her thanks to her clients, calling them "friends that have become family".
"And to my mum and dad for always being my cheerleaders from the start believing that I could own a business and pushing me.
"Many more years to come.
"Cheers", she added.
Another post shows Holly received a bouquet of flowers from her mum, who has also "kicked skin cancer's a**s" earlier this year, which read: "Dear Holly, congratulations on your 11th year at Lush. We are so proud of what you have achieved."
Other customers also sent their well wishes to Holly as one wrote: "Happy Lush birthday. I am so thankful I found you."
While another added: "Your business is thriving Holly because you're so good at what you do."
