A popular fish and chip shop in Oldham has said its full till was taken in a break in last week.
The Old Plough Chippy situated on Huddersfield Road revealed it was broken into in the early hours of Wednesday (July 5) last week.
In a post on social media, bosses said that while the thieves "didn't get much", their full till was allegedly taken and staff have been grappling with a new system this week.

The devastating news comes as the takeaway has earnt itself legendary status among locals and The Oldham Times readers, being voted numerous times as one of the best spots to grab a chippy in the borough.

"The girls did an amazing job learning a brand new till system and keeping a smile on their faces.
