Photographs of a new housing development in Royton being built show how quickly progress is being made.
Up to 14 two and three-bedroom homes are under construction over on Radcliffe Street.
The new build homes come as the housing association, First Choice Homes Oldham, announced earlier this year that it had signed deals with Lancet Homes to build 28 houses across the borough.

The Radcliffe Street development is one of two being built on a former brownfield site with a similar set-up of 14 homes being built on Hardman Street in Failsworth as part of a £7.7m investment scheme.
The housing association also claims the homes will be available at "affordable rent" as well as shared ownership to meet housing needs in the borough.
They will also be energy efficient to help customers save energy and curb their bills.
In a post on social media, FCHO posted images of the Royton homes being built "behind the scenes".
It added: "The team is making fantastic progress on more high-quality, affordable, sustainable homes to increase supply locally."
However, residents took to social media to air their views on the plans with some less than impressed with the appearance of the new builds.
One comment read:"Sadly, they've spoilt the aesthetics of Royton town centre. They look very out of place."
A woman agreed: "Not in the best place - the style doesn't suit the location, sorry."
Another claimed trees have been "cut down" and plants "dug up" to make way for the homes which they described as a "modern-day version of terrace housing".
The comment concluded: "They stick out like a sore thumb and block light out."
Yet others said they thought the homes looked "great" and that they were keen to rent a property once they had been built.
In total, up to 1,100 new homes are in the process of being built across the borough and surrounding areas, including Rochdale, Tameside, Kirklees and Calderdale, between 2020 and 2026.
