A study conducted by Currys has listed Oldham in the top 10 ‘most tech smart’ in the UK.
The study analysed 34 cities across the UK against five different categories of smart technology: security, energy, entertainment, fitness, and connectivity.
The research used the Google Ads API to analyse each city against keywords for each category over the last 12 months of accumulated data, up to March 2023.
Currys then weighted the results against the population and scored the figures against each other out of 10.
