An Oldham law firm is celebrating after receiving an award recognising excellence in legal practice management and client care for the 21st year in a row.
Pearson Solicitors and Financial Advisers, based on Queen Street in Oldham town centre, has been presented with the Lexcel award by the Law Society of England and Wales once again.
The award is highly regarded within the legal industry and the accomplishment represents a significant milestone for the firm.
Firms can apply for Lexcel and then undergo an evaluation process to see if they meet the criteria set by the Law Society.

Pearson Director Joanne Ormston said: "We are immensely proud to receive the Lexcel Award, as it recognises our firm's relentless pursuit of excellence and our commitment to providing exceptional legal services to our valued clients.
"This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of our entire team, who consistently go above and beyond to deliver the highest quality representation and support to our clients.
"The assessor particularly commented on our use of the apprenticeship scheme with staff supported to achieve relevant qualifications, both financially and with time set aside for course work."
Pearson, which can trace its roots back to 1874, specialises in commercial and private law services, along with financial advisory services.
Announcing the award, Anne Milne, an independent assessor, said: "Standards of client care continue to be high, and the firm continues to retain and attract new clients.
"It is clear from this assessment that Pearson Solicitors continues to maintain a sound Lexcel standard."
