A famous ice cream parlour and cafe that sits by the canal in Diggle has announced an exciting new addition to its menu.
Grandpa Greene's on Ward Lane has earnt its stripes as a hotspot for decadent desserts, luxury ice cream, artisan sandwiches and hot drinks in a picturesque setting to boot.
The cafe is renowned for catering to peaks of the season with its 'hot chocolate Easter egg', hotly anticipated around Easter time, as well its winter igloo village where diners can book an igloo hut for afternoon tea throughout the colder months.

Now that summer has arrived, the ice cream parlour has announced a brand-new dessert.
In a post on social media, Grandpa Greene's said it has crafted indulgently stuffed doughnuts in a wide range of flavours - kinder bueno, Nutella, lotus Biscoff and milky bar.

The photographs show the doughnut is generously topped with a heap of ice cream, strawberries, a signature GG biscuit and a kinder bueno, lotus biscuit or milky bar, depending on the doughnut ordered.
The cafe said: "Have you got your hands on our brand new loaded doughnuts yet?
"If not you are really missing out. With a range of flavours and the choice of adding strawberries to any, they are the perfect treat."
Another photograph taken by a customer shows the doughnuts are lavishly glazed with sauce when presented on the plate - from milk and white chocolate to lotus Biscoff.
The latest sweet treat joins a plethora of exciting desert options at the venue.
The parlour takes pride in its luxury manufactured ice cream where diners can choose from a range of cones, such as waffle, chocolate or smartie, and more than 15 ice cream flavours which costs £3 - £3.50 all in all.
Some ice cream scoops venture beyond the ordinary, such as its bright blue bubblegum flavour and pink raspberry pavlova.
Grandpa Greene's also has three vegan ice cream options - strawberry, passion fruit and mango and lotus.
But the decadence doesn't end there as the cafe offers 'super sundaes', which include its 'Kinderella' - Nutella ice cream, Kinder ice cream and hot 'kindella sauce' with a bueno biscuit, and hot deserts such as pancakes, waffles and brownies.
The sundaes start from £9.95 up to £10.50 while the hot desert menu costs between £8.95 and £10.50.
The new doughnut costs just £8.95 which bumps up to £10.90 with the added strawberries.
Drinks-wise, the cafe serves cocktails, gin, wines and beer alongside its plentiful hot beverages and milkshakes.
Meanwhile, its regular food menu caters to breakfast dishes, all-day breakfast muffins, salads and soups and artisan sandwiches.
If that's not enough, there's also a menu for dogs with furry guests able to order a 'puppuccino', Mancunian sausage or bacon.
