Oldham has welcomed a new Greggs shop that is unlike any other with huge discounts up for grabs.
The new Greggs Outlet, which sits on Henshaw Street, opened over the weekend with a view to tackle food waste while offering Oldhamers a taste of their favourite Greggs at a fraction of the cost.
The shop will still stock its popular menu items, including its savoury bakes and sweet treats, as well as its hot drinks such as its flat white and peppermint tea.

The food is made fresh every day across all Greggs stores.
However, any food that hasn't been sold is then removed from the shelves.
In a bid to prevent such dire food waste, the items are then sent to nearby Greggs Outlet shops where the items are sold at a discount - and Oldham is the latest to benefit from the initiative.
The new shop in Oldham town centre is open every Monday to Saturday from 7.30am to 4.30pm and from 9am until 3pm on Sundays.
Gillian Long, retail operations director for Greggs, said: “We’re pleased to be opening a new Outlet shop in Oldham providing a safe haven for Greggs fans who manage a tight budget.”
A portion of the profit generated from Greggs Outlets is also donated to the Greggs Foundation which is then shared between organisations such as soup kitchens and food banks to give back to local community organisations that are working to tackle food poverty in areas of greatest need.
Any further jobs created at the Oldham Outlet will be posted on https://www.greggsfamily.co.uk/.
