Staff at an Asda branch will be going to help out at a community litter pick next week.
Anyone is welcome to join the litter pick, which will last for up to two hours on Wednesday, May 24.
Workers from the Chadderton store will be helping out at the litter pick, and the store will also provide refreshments and sandwiches for all volunteers.
They’ll also be bringing bins, litter bags, gloves, and helping hands.
The Firwood and District Residents’ Association (FADRA) has organised the event, and applied to the shop’s community champion for the assistance.
The litter pick will start just after noon, at 12.30pm, and will last for up to two hours.

It will take place at the FADRA woodland site behind Mills Hill school, which can also be accessed via the Rochdale Canal.
The woodland site also includes play equipment, which has been repeatedly vandalised.
Graham Taylor, aged 76, helped organise the event.
He said: “I’m always excited whenever we get funding or anything like this, it’s still a thrill.
“People don’t have to – companies and organisations don’t have to help us, but they choose to. We feel great about it.
“We don’t live in a scruffy area by any stretch, but there’s still litter. Kids on their way home from school, people drop litter, things get blown in from bins. We will have a full two hours doing it.”
Graham added: “Let me just hope for good weather, tell everybody to bring their sense of humour.”
