A popular Italian restaurant in the heart of Saddleworth has taken on a new lease of life after undergoing a major refurbishment.
Fresca Italian which opened in Gatehead Business Park, Delph in 2009 is welcoming back customers after revamping its interior.
Owner Sean Carberry said: “I decided to change the whole colour scheme and the whole design of the menu and basically rebrand the restaurant and bring it up to date. It now has a city centre vibe.”
Sean's wife Hayley Carberry was the brains behind the redesign.
The 120-seat restaurant is family-run and has long-standing staff including managers Cameron Robertson, who has worked there for seven years, Matthew Clowes, who has been at the eatery since it opened, and kitchen manager Robert Kenway who has been at the restaurant for 11 years.
To celebrate its modern refurbishment Fresca is serving its ‘Express Menu’ from 12pm until close from Wednesday to Saturday for the entire month of May.
As part of the ‘Express Menu’ diners can get three courses for just £20 or two courses for £16.
Items on the menu include spaghetti roberto, Siciliana pizza, and penne ragu alla bolognese.
The meat used at the restaurant is sourced locally, fruit and vegetables are bought from the markets in Manchester, and the fish is from a supplier in Huddersfield.
The restaurant also offers private hire for events including Christmas, weddings, birthdays, baby showers, and corporate days.
