Drivers in and around Oldham will have a number of National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
Some are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing holdups of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week: • A663, from 8pm April 24 to 5am May 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663 both directions Moston Lane East to A627M J1 - lane closure switching for signs.
• A663, from 8pm May 5 to 5am May 31, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A663 both directions Middleton Rd to Foxdenton - carriageway closure for carriageway - reconstruction/renewal.
• A663, from 9pm May 8 to 5am May 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663 both directions Middleton Rd, junction to Moston Rd East, junction - lane closure switching for barrier/fence safety repairs.
• A663, from 9.30am to 3.30pm on May 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663 southbound.
• M60, from 8pm May 15 to 6am May 22, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 both directions J20 to J21 - carriageway closure for white lining/road markings.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
