A new development which is set to be home to hundreds of properties opened to the public for a sneak peek preview into what the homes will look like.

Bishop Meadows, a development between Royton and Shaw by property firm Redrow, will eventually be home to more than 200 properties with five acres of green space and its own orchard.

Ahead of the official launch, new show homes were opened to the public by the mayor of Oldham, Cllr Elaine Garry, on April 15 to give potential prospective residents a taste of what is to come.

Sian Pitt, sales director at Redrow Lancashire, said: “We are very excited to launch our new show homes at Bishop Meadows.

“Located close to amenities and set within picturesque open green space, this is already proving to be a very popular development.

“On behalf of all the team I would like to thank Mayor Elaine Garry for officially opening our show homes at Bishop Meadows.

"The event was very well attended, with over 70 visitors, and the sun even came out to make our show homes look even more impressive."
