Friends of a popular dad from Oldham who recently died have arranged a friendly remembrance football match to raise money for his funeral.
After the death of Kenny Eyres, who played for Springhead Football Club for a number of years, his pals were quick to set up a fundraiser to help his family with funeral costs.
On Sunday, (April 16), The Black Horse Pub on Ripponden Road saw friends and family gather to donate towards the cause.
Meanwhile, a GoFundMe page set up last week has seen more than £1,100 put towards the pot.
"He was loved by many and will stay in our memories forever", the page read.
Neil Lenegan wrote in support: "Really sad news. RIP Kenny, proper footballer and top man."
Gemma Richardson added: "RIP Kenny. You will be missed by many."
Kenny's friends have since arranged a remembrance football match which will take place at Springhead Football Club on Sunday, April 30, from 1pm.
Notifying friends and family of the plans, Lee McAllister said Kenny is "fondly remembered" and revealed live music, an auction and a raffle will also take place in the clubhouse after the game to raise money.
Mr McAllister said entry is £5 per person and that "all the monies raised will go on top of the amazing job The Black Horse did on Sunday towards Kenny's funeral costs".
"We would like to ask anyone who played with him or friends who would like to take part in the game to please get in touch.
"It would be great to have a bunch of all his old mates taking part in what is more likely to be a walking football", he added.
Touched by the plans, Kenny's son, Charlie Eyres, said: "My old man will be buzzing up there."
Kenny's brother, Joe Eyres, also said: "He would love that."
Other family members said the support from friends has been "unbelievable".
"I know he had a very special place in his heart for all the lads and this club, and he'll be absolutely overwhelmed watching down on us all", wrote another.
Other friends said it will be a "fiver well spent" and that it is a "brilliant gesture".
