Readers have named the best chippies in the borough.

The Oldham Times asked readers to share their favourite fish and chip shops in the borough and we have compiled a list of the most voted for in the area.

Delph Fish and Chip Shop got plenty of votes with one reader giving a special shout-out to the chippy’s cheese and onion pie.

Diggle Chippy got several votes from readers with one commenting: “The rag pudding and scallops are on another level” and another describing the chippy as “tremendous”.
