A 'luxurious' and 'iconic' mansion in Failsworth valued at more than £1m has dropped in price after struggling to sell for months.
Brick Hall Farm, situated on Failsworth Road in the Woodhouses area, has five bedrooms, five bathrooms and five reception rooms, including a home cinema.
Described as "locally iconic" with "excellent contemporary styling" and "generous room sizes", the property was initially up for sale for £1.5m on the Fine & Country website.
The detached home sits behind private electric gates which offer security to its garage and ample driveway parking, fit for several vehicles.
Inside, each bedroom has its own ensuite and dressing rooms, including an "expansive" master dressing room leading from the master bedroom up a set of spiral stairs.
Following a "theme of luxury", technology runs throughout the whole house with audio, smart lighting, CCTV and its own cinema room.
Meanwhile, it has a hot tub and patio contained in the rear garden which is described by Fine & Country as a "good outdoor entertaining space".
However, it has been at least six months since Brick Hall Farm was introduced to the market.
With seemingly no interested buyer to date, the property has been reduced to £1.4m, knocking off £100,000 from the asking price.
The property still stands significantly higher than the average price of homes on Failswort Road which, according to Rightmove, had an overall average price of £350,000 over the last year.
The majority of sold homes in the area were terraced properties, selling for an average £285,000 while detached properties went for £365,000.
Viewings of Brick Hall Farm are available by appointment with Fine & Country and more information about the property can be viewed on the website.
