Students from an Oldham performing arts school took to a stage in London's West End recently, showcasing their talents in an iconic theatre.
Stagecoach Performing Arts Oldham travelled down to London and, along with students from 15 other schools across the country, performed at the Shaftesbury Theatre.
After many rehearsals, the students performed a variety of renditions of world-famous songs and productions, including a medley from the musical Sweeney Todd, on Sunday, March 26.
Family and friends of the performers were guests on the night and were able to enjoy the acting, singing and dancing talents of the students.
Stagecoach Oldham Principal Kate Parkinson said: "The performance went brilliantly we were so proud of our eldest students at Oldham making their debut on the West End.
"The reviewer said it 'had the feel of a professional production', which is outstanding feedback."
The show was Stagecoach's second of the spring term, with the first being a regional showcase in Wales.
Stagecoach students have been able to perform at the Shaftesbury Theatre a number of times over the years and this is another milestone for the school.
Stagecoach, which launched 35 years ago, is an extra-curricular children’s performing arts school, which works with hundreds of schools in the United Kingdom and thousands worldwide.
