A Chadderton petrol station was taped off yesterday (March 28) following a spillage.
Firefighters worked to make the petrol station safe following a suspected diesel spillage due to a leak.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “At around 1.50pm yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 28 March) we received a report about a suspected diesel spillage on the forecourt of a petrol station on Hollinwood Avenue, Chadderton.
“The crew from Hollins fire station was quickly in attendance, and firefighters deployed specialist equipment to contain the leak and make the area safe.
“They were at the scene for around half an hour.”
