A Metrolink stop in Oldham has been found 'totally trashed' with a broken ticket machine as images show the extent of the damage.
The South Chadderton tram stop on the Shaw and Crompton line and Rochdale Town Centre line appears to have been attacked by vandals over the weekend.
Photographs of the damage show glass scattered all over the floor while the ticket machines have been so severely damaged that they are rendered unusable.
Large dents in the ticket machine and its cracked screen suggest it was hit multiple times.
A glass screen next to the machine also appears to have been smashed in the 'attack'.
The images were taken sometime late on Sunday night.
Greater Manchester Police have been approached for comment.
