Shocking footage shows a nightclub bouncer in Oldham was subject to an alleged 'unprovoked' assault by two women.
On Thursday last week at Liquid Oldham nightclub, situated on Retiro Street and Waterloo Street, CCTV cameras catch the pair hitting and punching the venue's security guard.
The 40-second-long footage appears to show the two women initially arguing with the door supervisor before launching their vicious assault.
A blonde woman can be seen pointing and gesturing wildly to the staff before her brunette friend slaps the bouncer in the face.
While the man takes steps back inside the venue, the blonde woman attempts to swing at the victim again and can be seen punching the man's head.
Fortunately, the staff member was not seriously injured from the assault.
While it remains unclear if the venue called the police over the incident, a spokesperson said an appeal has been launched to actively seek out the women to "ban" them from the town.
Liquid also praised the bouncer's "professional and calm response" to the "unprovoked abuse".
The full statement read: “Thankfully our door supervisor was not injured from the assault and should be praised for his professional and calm response to such unprovoked abuse.
"There is zero tolerance for this type of behaviour and as members of Oldham Pub Watch we are actively seeking the females are issued with a ban from the town.”
