A popular canalside cafe has announced its award-winning Easter egg hot chocolate is back and is "bigger and better than ever before".
Grandpa Greene's on Ward Lane in Diggle first launched its decadent hot chocolate, which contains an entire Easter egg, in the peak of the pandemic during lockdown.
The cafe and ice cream parlour partnered with Slattery, a patisserie and chocolatier based in Whitefield, to create the award-winning luxury drink.
However, this year the cafe has added an exciting addition to its menu - a white chocolate egg hot chocolate topped with chocolate sauce, whipped cream, marshmallows and mini eggs.
In a post on social media, the cafe said: "Guess who's back - our award-winning Slattery's X GG's luxury hot chocolate is back and bigger and better than ever before.
"This cannot be missed."
The hot chocolate will be available as of Monday, February 27, in line with its Easter dessert range, which includes hot Mini Egg pancakes, waffles, milkshakes, sundaes and cakes.
All food served at the cafe and parlour is locally sourced, with suppliers including Albion Farm in Delph.
Grandpa Greene's also opened a factory last year to manufacture its ice cream in the centre of Oldham.
