A residential street in the Coldhurst area of Oldham that has become a fly-tipping hotspot has been neglected for months, a resident has claimed.
Photographs taken by a concerned neighbour on Sunfied Road reveal a patch of grass has become a dumping ground for household waste.
The images show a mattress, bin bags and a trail of litter covers the area.
But a resident in the area claims the problem has persisted for months and despite reporting it to the Council "at least four times", he said nothing has been done about it.
Bryan Yates said he started to report the issue at the end of November but still, "to this day", the waste hasn't been cleared.
Email correspondence between Mr Yates and environmental services show he complained to Oldham Council on three separate occasions, dated October 27, December 30 and more recently, February 2.
The resident said he received a phone call three weeks ago and was promised it would be dealt with but said the street cleaner stops at the end of the road and "won't go any further".
"I have also reported it to health and safety as children have been seen playing around the garages.
"Some new bags have been added over a week ago, like the mattress", he said.
Mr Yates even said he offered to clean the street if the Council would supply him with the materials, such as the bags and equipment.
Oldham Council has been approached for comment.
