Oldham Mountain Rescue Team (OMRT) said it had "another busy year" in 2022 with more than 1,000 hours volunteered on incidents alone.
The team which gives up its time voluntarily to attend to both serious and non-life-threatening incidents in the borough and beyond has shared its stats for 2022 in a post on social media.
OMRT attended 35 incidents and helped 43 casualties, amounting to 1,141 volunteer hours on incidents alone last year.
However, while there were slightly fewer incidents overall compared to recent years, the crew said it faced a higher number of more serious incidents with eight in and around Birchen Clough and seven involving helicopter evacuations.
A further three missions involved vulnerable people while it also carried out seven searches and attended one wildfire.
OMRT also said it finished the year with its second-ever callout on Christmas Day - for the second year in a row.
The team said in a post online: "We would like to thank all of our supporters, partner agencies and neighbouring teams for your continued support.
"We wish you all the best for 2023."
