An avid fundraiser and charitable mum from Oldham has already accumulated an impressive sum for charitable causes this year but hopes to hit an even bigger milestone in 2023.
Sarah Tate from Lees works hard to raise funds all year round for charities that mean the most to her.
To name just a handful of her notable efforts, in February, she cycled the distance of Land's End to John o' Groats, or 1,407km, to raise funds and awareness for her relative Tehyah Solan-Clarke who has a rare condition.
Then in August, she walked, ran, swam and cycled an Olympic standard-length triathlon to raise hundreds of pounds for the mental health charity, Andy's Man Club - and to pay homage to two of her friends who tragically passed away from suicide during Covid.
Come September, she organised a fun day at Leesfield Pre-School in a bid to raise money for the school which was struggling in its recovery from the Covid pandemic.
This winter, Ms Tate hasn't stopped having completed yet more challenges to "give back" to charity.
In November, she cycled the equivalent of the late Queen Elizabeth's final journey - 555 miles - and on Tuesday, December 13, she cycled 96km, in honour of Her Majesty's age, for the Mayor of Oldham 2022-23 Charities.
Her efforts saw £592.50 put into the pot which she said she did as a "means of giving back" after receiving a Mayor's Appreciation Award.
However, the 35-year-old has her sights set on even bigger things in 2023.
Ms Tate said she will be giving "one final push" to raise funds for the four charities closest to her heart, Andy's Man Club, Tameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind, Dr Kershaw's and Leesfield Pre-School.
Throughout the past year, she's raised £21,200 for various charities but hopes to hike this figure to £25,000 by the end of February - signifying a full 12 months of fundraising.
Ms Tate said: "Honestly, it's overwhelming and I can't believe it's me.
"Raising this much for each of my four charities I'm sure will mean the world to them and they are the closest to my heart.
"February will be a massive push where I'm going to be doing a challenge a day, something like star jumps or clothes collections or coffee mornings, but the biggie will be a 70km walk.
"I'm going to replicate some of the challenges I completed the last 12 months, just taking a trip down memory lane."
