Three men have been arrested after a stolen car from Chadderton was chased by police.
While dealing with a report of an attempted moped theft on Broadoak Road, Ashton, neighbourhood officers said in a post online that they "spotted" a vehicle driving past which sparked their "police senses".
Police said a search revealed the vehicle had been reported as stolen from the Chadderton area.
The Ashton team then saw the stolen vehicle drive by minutes later on Minto Street and said it failed to stop for officers on Oldham Road.
After a short police pursuit, the car came to a stop on Brook Street East.
A group of three men, aged 18, 19 and 20, from the Ashton-under-Lyne area, were all arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft.
All three have since been bailed pending further investigation.
