A popular Oldham shop which provides locally sourced food items has announced it is closing its doors permanently after this weekend.
Little Owl Farm Shop, based on Grains Road, Grains Bar, said in a Facebook post that its final day of operation would be Sunday.
The shop is part of the Little Owl Farm and has been selling locally sourced food since the pandemic.
In the post on Facebook, the shop said: "With heavy hearts and mixed emotions we regretfully announce the closure of Little Owl Farm Shop.
"Our last day of operation will be Sunday 30th October.
"We responded to the needs of our community during the pandemic lockdown by providing a delivery service of fresh fruit and vegetables and other essentials.
"That effort transitioned into the establishment of Little Owl Farm Shop."
In the post from John, Cindy and Izaak, they thanked their suppliers both past and present and listed 15 suppliers who they said they were "proud" to carry the products of.
They also thanked "lovely, loyal customers" and "dedicated staff, family and friends".
Visitors to Little Owl Farm and Cindy's Cafe, on the site, will continue to be welcomed on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays each week.
