Oldham bus routes have been placed on diversion for multiple days this week and next.
First Bus
A total of 10 First Bus routes are on planned diversion from Monday, October 24 until Friday, November 4.
The affected routes all travel via Lord Street, near Tommyfield Market.
Routes 57, 59, 82, 83, 84, 180, 184, 350, 425, and 775 are all diverted.
Affected routes will instead avoid Lord Street, which is closed for roadworks, and travel along St Mary’s Way, before rejoining their regular route at Yorkshire Street.
Temporary traffic lights in days prior to the closure were causing delays to bus routes, with heavy traffic still expected around the area.
