Metrolink tickets are being accepted on buses due to a crash causing delays and a suspension to the line.
Trams to East Didsbury have been part-suspended due to a crash at St Werburgh’s Road.
Rochdale via Oldham trams are also delayed due to the incident.
The incident has meant trams are only going as far as Trafford Bar – leaving Firswood, Chorlton, St Werburgh’s Road, Withington, Burton Road, West Didsbury, Didsbury Village, and East Didsbury temporarily disconnected from Oldham.
The Manchester Airport – Victoria line tram is also affected.
Airport services are still running between Northern Moor and Manchester Airport.
⚠️ Due to a road traffic collision, the Airport line is part suspended. Services will run between the Airport & Northern Moor. The East Didsbury line is also suspended.

How to get around it
Bus
Metrolink tickets are currently being accepted on 18, 19, 23, 42, 42A, 101, 103, 171, 172 buses.
Tickets and passes are also being accepted on the 59, 81, 83, 181, 182 and 409 bus services due to delays on the Rochdale via Oldham line.
Trams are still running between Rochdale and Trafford Bar.
According to Metrolink, those using contactless payment to tap-in and tap-out should let bus drivers know they have touched in and paid via contactless.
If you are unable to tap out, Metrolink advises getting in contact tomorrow to receive a refund.
Rail
Those needing to travel to East Didsbury can utilise the rail network to complete their journey – though they will need to buy another ticket, as ticket acceptance is not in place.
Rail services depart from Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Oxford Road. These stations can be reached from Victoria by train or tram, or by walking or cycling on a cycle hire bicycle from Victoria.
More information on how to get around the disruption can be found on Transport for Greater Manchester's service disruption page.
