Flowers laid in tribute to Her Majesty have been moved after requests from residents.
Oldham Council has confirmed why it has moved flowers laid in tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II outside the Civic Centre.
The flowers were originally located on the steps outside the civic centre.
Now, the flowers have been moved outside reception.
The council confirmed to The Oldham Times that the tribute was relocated after requests from residents to make it more accessible to those with mobility issues.
The flowers are now located closer to the Book of Condolence at the Civic Centre.
The book at the Civic Centre is one of many across the borough where people can leave their tributes to Her Majesty, following her death at the age of 96 on Thursday, September 8.
Are you going to London for the Queen's funeral or lying in state?
We want to hear from you if you are going to London, or have been, to see Her Majesty lying in state in Westminster Hall, or to pay tribute at the funeral procession on Monday.
