A woman was helped by Oldham's mountain rescue team after injuring their ankles while walking near Dovestones.
A team of 13 volunteers responded to a call on Saturday from North West Ambulance Service requesting assistance with the treatment and evacuation of the woman.
The callout officer made contact and established the location as Ashway Rocks, which allowed the team to rendezvous with NWAS paramedics and transport her almost all the way to the scene in their off-road buggy, OM5.
After a medical assessment, the woman was taken back down the hill in OM5 and transferred to the NWAS ambulance.
OMRT leader Rob Tortoiseshell said: “We wish her all the best for a speedy recovery.”
The team were involved for one hour 15 minutes.
