A service to mark 40 years since the Falklands War has been planned in Oldham.
The event is planned to be held in Oldham Parish Church on Sunday, June 12, at 2pm.
The service is to mark the anniversary of the liberation of the islands, when the Argentine military occupation of the Islands ended on Tuesday, June 14 1982.
Oldham Parish Church will be hosting a Service of Remembrance for the 40th Anniversary of the Falklands War on Sunday 12 June from 2pm.

The war between the UK and Argentina lasted 74 days, and saw 255 British military personnel, three islanders, and 649 Argentine soldiers die, with many more wounded.
