Oldham Netball Club took home the trophy after winning the England Netball Under 17s Championship Cup competition.
Oldham Netball Club has won 14 national championships over the course of the last decade with this team, the U17s, bagging two including a cup from when they played as under 14s.
Head coach, Pam Hazleton, said the journey to the finals for the team had been long.
The team qualified for the finals in December 2021 when they won the North Championship.
Teams across the country play in one of three competitions, the North, South and Midlands championships in order to qualify for the finale.
After travelling all the way from Oldham to London’s Copper Box Arena for the super league final, the girls played the Southern Eagles and beat them by 22 to 19.
And in the final match against the Charnwood Rutland Warriors, based in Leicestershire and Rutland, Oldham Netball Club scored 25 to 13 which won them the title.
Ms Hazleton said: “It’s been a long process – but yesterday was the final.
“These girls have been playing together since they were eight years old.
“They were the under 14s national champions as well.
“It’s amazing.
“They work so hard for it and it’s an amazing feeling to see it right on the day.
“I’m so proud of them”.
The team is made up of Oldham girls Ruby Parker, Harriett Jones, Maisy Redding, Morgan Wilkinson, Ruby Coates, Emily Pawlett, Lexie Holt, Charlotte Wilkinson, Georgie Spratt, Pippa Morgan and Sofia Warn.
