BROTHERS from Oldham have been sentenced for attacking someone in the borough nearly two years ago.
Casey and Daniel Lord, of Wood Crescent and Brown Edge Road respectively, were sentenced at Minshull Street Crown Court on Tuesday (May 10).
On May 30, 2020, the pair assaulted their victim on Wildmoor Avenue.
They were both charged with racially aggravated actual bodily harm (ABH), ABH and assault by beating.
Casey Lord, 25, pleaded guilty to all three offences while Daniel, 28, pleaded guilty to ABH but not guilty to the other two charges. Daniel was only prosecuted on the ABH charge.
Casey Lord was sentenced to 32 weeks in prison and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £156.
As for Daniel, he was sentenced to 19 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months.
He was also handed rehabilitation activity requirements, was ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work and was made to pay a victim surcharge of £128.
