A community focus group is to be set up in order to try and prevent and reduce anti-social behaviour around Holts estate.
On Monday, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) officers representing Oldham met with partners from Oldham Council, First Choice Homes Oldham and local residents to discuss the area.
Members of the community expressed their concerns over anti-social behaviour and environmental health issues in the area.
As a result of the meeting between the parties, a community focus group will be set up in the near future, looking to address these issues.
First Choice Homes work closely with Holts estate.
It has a neighbourhood team set up and says it owns 630 homes in the area, making up 57 per cent of the total number of homes in Holts village.
