A day of action to tackle vehicle offences in Oldham saw one person arrested and the seizure of vehicles.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) were carrying out Operation Vortex on Broadway, Chadderton as they looked to make the roads safer.
The operation was carried out by Traffic Police Community Support Officers (TPCSOs) and a special GMP Transport Unit.
The most common offence was people not wearing their seatbelts, with 22 separate offences.
Non-conforming registrations were the second most common offence, with 14 people deemed to have been in breach of the Road Vehicles Regulations 2001.
This means 14 vehicles were found to have registration numbers that did not meet the measures which are allowed.
Three people were stopped for driving whilst on their mobile phones and there was one case of driving without insurance and another case of driving without a driver's licence.
One person was arrested and remanded in custody for driving whilst disqualified.
Operation Vortex is a GMP Oldham operation which looks to focus on different parts of the borough each month.
It has seen similar days of action cracking down on vehicle offences carried out, such as the one in January.
Other times, it can focus on heavier crimes, such as in December when raids took place at addresses in search of drugs.
