ALL of these cases involving people from Oldham have been before magistrates recently.
A Failsworth man has been sentenced to prison and ordered to pay costs after he breached a restraining order.
Daniel Anyakudo, of Norman Street, was judged to have breached the restraining order on April 13 when he contacted the victim without reasonable excuse.
The order had originally been imposed by Somerset Magistrates' Court in July 2021.
At Manchester Magistrates' Court on April 14, Anyakudo, 26, pleaded guilty to the offence.
He was sent to prison for 12 weeks due to the severity of the offence as he had shown disregard for court orders.
He was also made to pay a victim surcharge of £128.
A man has been ordered to pay nearly £600 and had points added to his licence for driving without insurance.
Ali Butt, of Owen Street, was driving in Halifax on January 2021 when he was found to be driving without insurance.
At Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court on April 20, Butt, who had earlier pleaded guilty, was sentenced in his absence.
He was fined £440, made to pay a victim surcharge of £44 and made to pay court costs of £110, bringing his total to £594.
He also had six points added to his driving record.
A Chadderton man been ordered to pay costs of over £200 for driving a car with tyres with insufficient tread.
Aiden Smith, of Stanley Street, was driving in September 2021 when he was found to be using tyres that were not at a depth of 1.6mm.
At Manchester Magistrates' Court on April 13, Smith, 21, pleaded guilty to the charge.
He was fined £83, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90, bringing his total costs to £207, which he must pay by May 11.
He also had three points added to his driving record.
A man has been banned from attending football matches for three years.
Carl Fagan, of Wiltshire Road, Chadderton,appeared at Manchester Magistrates' Court on April 14.
He was handed a football banning order for three years for causing or contributing to violence or disorder in Oldham and Bradford.
