THE Oldham foodbank has publicly thanked a teenager who sold a signed Jamie Carragher photo to raise funds.
Ibrahim Yousaf, 15, from Oldham, auctioned the photo after hearing the foodbank needed urgent donations.
The photograph raised £150 which was spent on food to distribute to those in need.
Ibrahim is a well-known charity champion in Oldham.
In 2019 he became the youngest person to be awarded the British Empire Medal in the Queen's New Year Honours List and a year later he won the Diana Award.

A Facebook post published by the Oldham Foodbank on Tuesday reads: “Thank you to a truly inspirational young man- Ibby.
“On hearing we needed urgent donations, Ibby auctioned a signed Jamie Carragher photo he had been given.
"This raised £150 which was spent on much needed food to distribute in food parcels.
“Thank you once again Ibby.”
The post also included a photo of a certification of thanks that was sent to Ibrahim and signed by Father Tom Davis who runs Oldham Foodbank.
