PUPILS at Oldham Hulme Grammar School have won awards at an international physics competition.
There were eight Year 11 students who took part in the Intermediate Physics Challenge, which was organised by the British Physics Olympiad and Oxford University.
The pupils achieved two gold awards, three bronze awards and three commendations.
Principal Craig Mairs, said: "The school is extremely proud of the achievements of our students who gained recognition as part of this prestigious competition.
“Just representing the school as part of the internationally recognised competition, organised by the British Physics Olympiad and The University of Oxford is enough, but to walk away with two gold awards, three bronze and three commendations is absolutely fantastic.
“Their success is a testament to the hard work our students put into their studies and to the excellent team we have here teaching Physics."
