AN Oldham teenager has been jailed for failing to comply with a court order.
Jack Holt, 18, of Roundthorn Road, Oldham was charged with breaching a criminal behaviour order and failing to comply with a court order on Wednesday.
He was remanded into custody and appeared at Tameside Magistrates where he was given 28 days in prison for the breach of court order and a trial date was set for May 23 for the breach of criminal behaviour order.
Holt was issued with a criminal behaviour order after being convicted of possession of an offensive weapon and assault in 2021.
He was arrested by sergeant Joseph Dunne from the Waterhead and St James’ neighbourhood team on Tuesday, according to a Facebook post by GMP Oldham.
Criminal behaviour orders are issued to defendants upon conviction at court and the conditions are put in place to help prevent further offences.
The orders can limit the areas that a person can go as well as who they can associate with.
