With Easter a little over a week away, you might be wondering how you can keep yourself and your family busy in Oldham this April.

Here’s a selection of the National Trust’s Easter activities in Oldham.

Easter egg hunts

This Easter you can take your family to National Trust sites to search for Easter eggs.

Whilst there are none taking place in Oldham itself, there is one to be found at Quarry Bank which is about a 35-45 minute drive away from the town.

The trail takes place until April 18, 2022, from 10.30am to 4pm, with last entry at 3.30pm

It costs £3 per child for the trail and booking is not required.

If you wanted an alternative to Quarry Bank then you would need to travel outside of Greater Manchester to either Cheshire (Little Moreton, Hare Hill etc...), Lancashire (Rufford Old Hall) or Liverpool (Speke Hall)

If the idea of a family walk sounds like the best way to celebrate Easter, look no further.

National Trust sites such as the previously mentioned Little Moreton Hill, Quarry Bank and Hare Hill, all have numerous trails to show off the best of their sites for nature and wildlife.

If you opt for a day indoors, there’s still fun to be had with the National Trust’s craft tutorials.
