A WOMAN from Oldham has been fined hundreds of pounds for dropping a cigarette in Manchester city centre.
Eugenia Stanciu, 36, of Greengate Street in Glodwick, was sentenced in her absence at Tameside Magistrates' Court last week.
Back in July of last year, Stanciu was on George Street in Manchester city centre when she dropped a cigarette on the ground.

The magistrates took a dim view of this littering and issued a fine of £220.
Stanciu was also ordered to cover £125 in court costs, plus a £34 surcharge.
She has until April 28 to pay the total of £379.
